Botherella Skill Guide

Botherella. The devious girl we all know of with her sidekick Wolfgang. The princess known in Buddy Rush.

We all know and love her about her special abilities: to be able to curse, and to summon a dog.

Isn’t that why you would create her?

Botherella has many interesting skills. It would be great to master them all, but we must stick to priority. I said this many times, and I will say it again: Either you master it, or you don’t. This is the only way to have full effective skills that are crucial to your character.

To be honest, Botherella is a weak combat character. Her HP is quite abundant, but her attack skill will only reside to about 180 at level 90. Nevertheless, as I have mentioned above, we create her clearly for her magical skills. Her thorn-bush skill is also one of her famous skills. Unlike Vampino, who practically does the same thing with his 3rd active, Botherella can cause a kind of curse similar to Toxy’s skills and Skully’s “Bleed”, enabling the enemy to continue lose HP at a certain pace. First off, you would want to level up her Thornbush skill to level 10 first. (Level 10 first, because we don’t want an overuse of mana)

If you had taken this route, you would want to level up her first passive skill, Charity, to 10 as well, just for the moment. This skill serves as a boost to your Curse and Thornbush skills. For Botherella, we focus on Thornbush only. This skill would enhance the “bleeding” caused during the Thornbush effect, as well as increasing the effect of the skill itself.

After both skills are level 10, go back and master both skills to 20.

Thus, we can move on to Wolfgang. The reason we didn’t level up him first was because Wolfgang would only serve as a small backup. As your skill level for him increase, you are only increasing his defense by 2% and the attack 1. That is quite small. If (I’m just saying) Wolfgang started at 1 ATK, he would only attack up to 21, which is a small increment. However, one thing that is very effective is the slight interruption while Wolfgang uses his jaw skill! This skill is effective if you want an interruption in an attacking opponent. However, it is shown that some bosses are prone to it, and will not be affected.  However, make sure to level up Wolfgang to level 20. Even though he might cost you a lot of mana, he DOES act as another buddy that will last you throughout the whole mission, perhaps.

OR…(I took this route)

Her cursing skill can be quite endeavoring. If you level up this skill, you can focus on speed, skill power, and/or mana. (Yes, mana will be your problem). This skill will temporarily decrease attack power and defense of the enemy. IT WILL NOT LOWER THE HP OF YOUR ENEMY! However, according to some people, Curse makes killing regular oblins MUCH easier, and the same goes for bosses. Thus, attack is not important. Oblins can die in 2 hits!

For her final skills to level, any of the 3 passives are optional. Elastic skull (2nd passive) allows your attack to “bounce” to another opponent by chance. The higher the skill, the greater chance it will bounce. Pain Sharing “3rd passive) allows  Botherella and Wolfgang’s max HP to go up, WHICH is USEFUL for people who want a stronger Wolfgang and a Botherella mainly equipped with ATK weapons. The last skill, An Eye for an Eye, returns damages given by the enemy by chance.

To be honest, chance skills are not as effective. Given “An eye for an eye”; let’s say a Oblin uses its spear to attack you numerously. You end up losing a lot of HP, but the Oblin dies without you doing anything. How will you end up after that? A killed oblin and a low HP bar for yourself. It’s a risky thing, but this skill can serve as a slight backup if you are prone to be targeted first thing.

Crucial skills to level:

1- Thornbush (3rd active) = 10

2- Charity (1st passive) = 10 (AFTER THIS, GO BACK AND LEVEL BOTH TO 20)

3- Summon (1st active) = 20

The rest is up to you.
